PharMD has chosen Direct Dispensing as it’s FDA approved repackager.  Direct Dispensing is a supplier of pharmaceutical products to the United States military and many other pharmaceutical outlets throughout the United States.

Point-of-Care dispensing is not meant to replace the full-service retail pharmacy, but rather provide the 20-30 items that make up 50% to 70% of prescriptions, depending on specialty.

Our key to successfully dispensing is to identify prescribing habits.  Typically the same medications are prescribed repeatedly.  The ideal practice formulary consist of the most frequently prescribed medications in the most common ordered strengths and packaged sizes. 

Refills can be obtained directly at the office.
